Kent Ayer

Kent joined TDK in 2005 as Vice President and General Counsel. In 2011, he became President and leads TDK’s day to day operations. Kent manages the firm’s construction and development companies with a focus on capital and debt sourcing and structuring. Kent has overseen the construction and development of more than 8,500 apartment units and sourced $1 billion in capital. In addition to oversight of both the Construction and Development divisions, he handles all bonding, insurance, and legal matters for TDK. Kent is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, holds a Juris Doctor and MBA from the University of Louisville as well as a BBA in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. He was a 4-year letterman and captain on the Middle Tennessee State University basketball team and now serves on their Foundation Board.
